The Community for Children’s Justice is a non-profit serving the Summit County Children’s Justice Center by strengthening the overall support system with a fully equipped campus for child abuse victims and their families. 

PRIVACY POLICY

The Community for Children’s Justice (CCJ) places a high priority on protecting your privacy. This privacy policy was created in order to demonstrate CCJ’s firm commitment to the privacy of our members and website users. This policy explains what types of information is collected by the CCJ website, www.ccjsc.org, and how this information is used.  By using the CCJ website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Information Collected

CCJ collects personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, home or work address or telephone number. CCJ also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by CCJ. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by CCJ for the operation of its services, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of CCJ’s website.

Individuals who donate to CCJ or sign up to receive CCJ’s e-communications voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name and e-mail address).  You may always "opt out," either now or at any time in the future, if you do not wish to receive further correspondence.

Security of Your Personal Information

CCJ secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. www.ccjpc.org secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

IP addresses

CCJ uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer www.ccjsc.org, and for statistical metrics used to track website visitor traffic.

www.ccjpc.org uses "cookie" messages to automatically help provide better services and help you personalize your online experience. CCJ does not provide, sell, or rent email addresses to anyone outside the organization.
